Laurel Valley Ranch is owned and operated by Donnie and Kathy Boyd who have over 20 years of training and teaching experience. The staff of LVR is made up of caring, loving and experienced horse people who are excited to share their knowledge with their students. They are sensitive to each person's unique style of learning.

Making friends, loving horses and learning to ride go hand in hand at Laurel Valley Ranch. LVR kids love to spend time outside with the horses and their families. A strong work ethic, respect for life, dedication and the desire to acheive is nurtured in every child. At LVR long lasting friendships are made as students learn together, practice together, show together and often travel together.

LVR offers western and English instruction and can accommodate each individual's need whether it's a beginner just starting out or an experienced rider who travels shows throughout the country.

Lessons can be individual or in groups. LVR offers many programs which range from Show Club, ages eight and up, Riding Up Club for the more advanced show group, birthday parties, Girl Scout badge programs, and free classroom field trips. Camps are also available for those who love to ride.
